  • The 2037 magnifier is a 30x magnification wide angle magnifier associated with a 0.1mm graduated glass scale.
  • It has been redesigned to ensure clear and distinct observation of the 7 mm field of vision at 30x magnification.
  • The roundness of the field and the lateral chromatic differences are perfectly corrected by the association of four lenses. Two of them are made in a new type of optical glass.
  • The six air-glass contact surfaces are coated with several layers of anti-reflective material to avoid internal reflections.
  • This measuring magnifier has a choice of 1 scale in black and 1 in white (see overview). Its perfect optics combine substantial magnification with the possibility of observing very large fields of measurement and vision.

Note:
  • If the measuring magnifier 2037 is to be used, please note that the design of the magnifier is extremely flat (only 23 mm) and the user must place the eye close to the optics. When used on flat materials (on a table), the measuring magnifier is not suitable and the use of a measuring microscope 2008-25 with 0.05 mm scale is recommended (measuring length 3.0 mm - field of view 3.3 mm). The measuring magnifier 2037 is used when small objects are held in one hand and the measuring magnifier is guided in the other hand.
  • When using this instrument, adjust the distance between the glass scale and the magnifying glass by turning the fluted ring of the magnifying glass until you have the magnified image of the scale in focus. After that, no readjustment is necessary until the user changes. By turning the ring to the left as far as it will go and turning it a little more vigorously, the magnifier can be removed from the transparent tube with the scale and used as a stand-alone magnifier.
  • The shown standard scale is included with the loupe. In addition, scales in black (for light backgrounds) and in white (for dark backgrounds) can be purchased with this loupe.
  • In optics, an achromat is a system of two lenses consisting of glasses with different Abbe numbers (different degrees of dispersion). The system contains a converging lens (usually made of crown glass) and a diverging lens with a smaller Abbe number and thus stronger dispersion than the converging lens (usually made of flint glass). This allows the longitudinal colour error that every simple lens has to be corrected for two wavelengths, i.e. the system has the same cut-off for these two colours.
