The Model B Tester is designed to cover the hardness of aluminum alloys from the 100 to the 7075 series. The 20 graduations on the Webster dial indicator covers the range between 25 and 110 on the Rockwell E Scale.

Webster® hardness testers, also known as Webster hardness clamps, are the preferred instruments for quickly testing the hardness value of aluminum alloy at the production site.
Webster® B hardness tester can be used to test the hardness of aluminum alloy, pipe, plate, aluminum parts and other soft metals, determine whether the aluminum products have aged or not, or determine that the hardness is within the specifications. It can also distinguish different types of aluminum and different aging states. Webster hardness testers are especially suitable for production sites and sales sites of aluminum profiles, doors, windows, curtains, walls, etc. to carry out rapid testing and non-destructive testing
Webster hardness tester is easy to use, just clamp the workpiece, and then read the hardness value directly. It focuses on high efficiency and reliability, in accordance with the American standard ASTM B647-84 (2000).
conversion: conversion table attached in the user manual or via a downloadable mobile application of "hardness conversion", Webster hardness value can be converted into Vickers, Rockwell and Brinell hardness value.
indenter: made of special steel, high hardness, good toughness, long service life, good interchangeability.
indicator needle: high strength of the pointer, not easy to bend deformation after long-term or wrong use.
dial glass: high strength and high toughness of the dial glass, not easy to break by impact.
handle: forged aluminum alloy, anodic protection, wear-resistant, pollution-resistant.
hardness blocks: use standard Rockwell hardness tester, in strict accordance with metrological verification regulations. Laser engraving of serial number, hardness value and data validity period. The surface roughness and flatness are also up to standard.
