Diamond disc XLAP

XLAP is a self-sharpening, flexible grinding disc for flat and fine grinding applications, replacing abrasive papers in grinding hard materials. Precision graded diamond and optimized grit concentration lead to short process time, flat surface and superior edge sharpness.

self-sharpening: dressing is not necessary due to the self-sharpening characteristics, leading to prolonged life time, reduced costs and high repeatability!
flexible base: the flexible base absorbs vibrations and thus reduces material fractures and prevents corrosion!
short process time: due to very high cutting power, time of grinding is reduced!
flat surface: geometry of the disc gives the highest flatness to the specimens, even if different hardness inside the material!
superior edge surface: combination of high cutting power with geometry of the disc gives very well cut and sharp edges!
longer life: due to superior thickness of active surface XLAP has a longer life!
usage indicator: XLAP surface turns white to indicate end of life!
clean workspace: only water needed as coolant, resulting in clean workspace and easy cleaning specimens!
range of grit: 80, 220, 600, 1200, 2000, 3000
standard diameters: 250mm, 300mm on metallic disc, to use on magnetic or XMAF
